Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)
  • 1 egg yolk (optional, for richness)

For Frying and Serving:

  • 1/4 cup butter (for frying)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)
  • Optional: fresh berries or fruit preserves for serving
