Melt-in-Your-Mouth Biscuits

  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup (1 stick / 115 g) unsalted butter, very cold or frozen
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) cold buttermilk (or substitute below)

Optional (for topping):

  • 2 tbsp melted butter for brushing
  • Pinch of flaky salt or honey drizzle for serving

Buttermilk Substitute (if you don’t have any)

Mix ¾ cup milk with 2 tsp lemon juice or vinegar, stir, and let sit for 5 minutes — instant buttermilk!
