Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.
Step 2: Cook the Meat & Veggies
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef (or steak) and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
- Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream.
- Add provolone and cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
- Adjust thickness with a splash of pasta water if needed.
Step 4: Combine Pasta & Sauce
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated with the cheesy sauce.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5: Serve
- Garnish with fresh parsley or extra cheese.
- Serve warm with garlic bread or a side salad.

- Use steak strips:Â Thinly slice ribeye or sirloin for an authentic Philly cheesesteak vibe.
- Add mushrooms: Sauté mushrooms along with peppers and onions for extra depth.
- Spice it up:Â Add a pinch of crushed red pepper or hot sauce.
