Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Meat & Veggies

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Add ground beef (or steak) and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until softened.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

  1. Pour in beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  2. Lower the heat and stir in heavy cream.
  3. Add provolone and cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  4. Adjust thickness with a splash of pasta water if needed.

Step 4: Combine Pasta & Sauce

  • Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated with the cheesy sauce.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5: Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or extra cheese.
  • Serve warm with garlic bread or a side salad.

  • Use steak strips: Thinly slice ribeye or sirloin for an authentic Philly cheesesteak vibe.
  • Add mushrooms: Sauté mushrooms along with peppers and onions for extra depth.
  • Spice it up: Add a pinch of crushed red pepper or hot sauce.
