Golden, Crispy Chicken + Creamy, Cheesy Macaroni = Pure Comfort Bliss
Ingredients (Serves 6)
For the Crispy Chicken:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs), cut into strips or chunks
- 1 cup buttermilk (or 1 egg, beaten with ¼ cup milk)
- 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- Salt & black pepper to taste
- Oil for frying or spray for air frying
For the Mac & Cheese:
- 12 oz elbow macaroni (or any pasta shape you like)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups milk (preferably whole milk or 2%)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: ½ cup marinara sauce (for swirling in or drizzling on top)
