Street Tacos de Carne Asada

Grilled, marinated beef tucked into soft corn tortillas and topped with zesty, fresh garnishes — just like from a taco stand in Mexico!

Ingredients (Serves 4–6)

For the Carne Asada:

  • 1½ to 2 lbs flank steak or skirt steak
  • ¼ cup orange juice
  • 2 tbsp lime juice (fresh)
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ cup chopped cilantro
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For Serving:

  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 1 small white onion, finely diced
  • ½ cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Lime wedges
  • Optional: Salsa verde, guacamole, or pickled jalapeños
