Juicy beef stir-fried with colorful peppers and onions in a savory, umami-rich sauce — ready in under 30 minutes!

Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the Stir-Fry:

  • 1 lb flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced against the grain
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1–2 bell peppers, sliced (red & green for color)
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced (optional but recommended)
  • Optional: green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

For the Marinade/Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp water
