Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
- Mix cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in one bowl.
- Dip each piece of chicken in beaten egg, then coat in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan or skillet.
- Fry chicken in batches until golden and crispy (about 4–5 minutes per batch).
- Drain on paper towels.
Step 2: Make the Dragon Glaze
- In a saucepan, combine sweet chili sauce, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, ginger, and vinegar.
- Simmer for 3–5 minutes over medium heat until slightly thickened and glossy.
Step 3: Toss & Serve
- Place crispy chicken in a large bowl.
- Pour the hot dragon glaze over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with green onions, toasted sesame seeds, or a lime wedge.
Best Served With:
- Steamed jasmine rice or fried rice
- Stir-fried veggies
- As a party appetizer with toothpicks!
Tips:
- Double the glaze if you like it extra saucy.
- Bake instead of fry? Use a 425°F oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping once.
