Dragon Glazed Crispy Chicken Bites

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken

  1. Mix cornstarch, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in one bowl.
  2. Dip each piece of chicken in beaten egg, then coat in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan or skillet.
  4. Fry chicken in batches until golden and crispy (about 4–5 minutes per batch).
  5. Drain on paper towels.

Step 2: Make the Dragon Glaze

  1. In a saucepan, combine sweet chili sauce, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic, ginger, and vinegar.
  2. Simmer for 3–5 minutes over medium heat until slightly thickened and glossy.

Step 3: Toss & Serve

  1. Place crispy chicken in a large bowl.
  2. Pour the hot dragon glaze over the chicken and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Garnish with green onions, toasted sesame seeds, or a lime wedge.

Best Served With:

  • Steamed jasmine rice or fried rice
  • Stir-fried veggies
  • As a party appetizer with toothpicks!

Tips:

  • Double the glaze if you like it extra saucy.
  • Bake instead of fry? Use a 425°F oven for 25–30 minutes, flipping once.
