Ingredients (Serves 4–6):
For the Shells:
- 20–24 jumbo pasta shells (boiled until al dente, drained)
For the Filling:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 tbsp taco seasoning (or 1 packet)
- ¼ cup water
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- ½ cup cream cheese (optional for creamy filling)
- Salt & pepper to taste
For the Bake:
- 1 ½ cups salsa or taco sauce
- ½ cup shredded cheese (for topping)
- Optional: sliced black olives, jalapeños, green onions, or cilantro
