Step 1: Cook the Pasta
- Bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente.
- Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.
Step 2: Prepare the Lobster
- If using lobster tails:
- Split shells, pull out meat, and cut into chunks.
- In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter, add lobster, and season with Cajun seasoning.
- Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until just opaque. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Make the Cajun Cream Sauce
- In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp butter and garlic, cook until fragrant.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning and cream, bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan, stir until melted and smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
Step 4: Combine
- Toss in cooked pasta, stirring to coat in sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
- Gently fold in lobster meat and warm through for 1–2 minutes.
- Garnish with parsley or green onions.
Tips:
- Swap lobster for shrimp, crab, or scallops for variation.
- Add sautéed bell peppers or spinach for more depth.
- Make it extra indulgent by finishing with a drizzle of garlic butter on top.
Storage:
- Best eaten fresh, but leftovers keep in the fridge up to 2 days
- Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of cream or milk
