Creamy Cajun Lobster Pasta

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente.
  2. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

Step 2: Prepare the Lobster

  1. If using lobster tails:
    • Split shells, pull out meat, and cut into chunks.
  2. In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter, add lobster, and season with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Cook over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until just opaque. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Cajun Cream Sauce

  1. In the same skillet, add 2 tbsp butter and garlic, cook until fragrant.
  2. Stir in Cajun seasoning and cream, bring to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add Parmesan, stir until melted and smooth.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

Step 4: Combine

  1. Toss in cooked pasta, stirring to coat in sauce. Add a splash of pasta water if needed.
  2. Gently fold in lobster meat and warm through for 1–2 minutes.
  3. Garnish with parsley or green onions.

Tips:

  • Swap lobster for shrimp, crab, or scallops for variation.
  • Add sautéed bell peppers or spinach for more depth.
  • Make it extra indulgent by finishing with a drizzle of garlic butter on top.

Storage:

  • Best eaten fresh, but leftovers keep in the fridge up to 2 days
  • Reheat gently on the stovetop with a splash of cream or milk
