  • 2 cups milk or water (or a mix)
  • 1 medium apple, grated or finely chopped
  • ½ cup grated carrot (about 1 small carrot)
  • 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: 1 tbsp raisins or chopped walnuts
