Ingredients
For the Dough (makes 1 large or 2 medium pizzas):
- 2¼ tsp (1 packet) active dry yeast
- 1½ cups warm water (about 110°F / 43°C)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 3½ cups all-purpose or bread flour
- 1½ tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
For the Sauce:
- 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp dried oregano
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes or a pinch of sugar
For the Toppings:
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
