Cher is an entertainer who rose to fame as a teen pop singer and went on to have a successful recording, concert, and acting career. She has been dubbed the “Goddess of Pop” by the media and has been described as encapsulating female individuality in a male-dominated profession. After marrying Sonny Bono in 1964, they began performing together, and their first great pop hit, “I Got You Babe,” was released in 1965, selling over three million copies.
After their divorce, she went on to have a successful solo career. Cher, who is still alive and well in show business, had an appearance in the 2020 film “Bobbleheads: The Movie.”
