Forget Burt Reynolds and Tom Selleck. Sam Elliot is the Hollywood king of the mustache. As a matter of fact, in his early career, he has typecast as a western character actor thanks to his gruff, masculine appearance and the way he wore his stache.
Elliot’s filmography includes early roles in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, and a recurring role in the early ’70s hit TV series Mission: Impossible. His prominent role came in the period war film I Will Fight No More Forever. He is currently starring in the Netflix series The Ranch and received an Oscar Nomination for the 2018 film, A Star Is Born.
