She is 66 years old right now and remains a symbol for punk, feminism, and rock and roll. It’s safe to say that without Joan Jett’s contribution, the entire music industry would’ve been shaped differently. She started with The Runaways, eventually forming the Joan Jett & the Blackheads.
Joan seems to have stopped aging since she turned 50! To be fair, she lives an incredibly active lifestyle. She’s even currently working on an upcoming film called 7th Secret. Meanwhile, her songs like Cherry Bomb and I Love Rock ‘n Roll are still being played on the radio.
