Dick Van Dyke – Age 99

Dick Van Dyk earned his chops as a radio announcer for the US Army during WWII. He took these skills into mainstream radio before moving into Broadway and later TV, gaining national fame with his role in the self-titled The Dick Van Dyk Show.
For the Dick Van Dyk Show, he won three Daytime Emmy’s for the leading actor while the series itself won four for Outstanding Comedy Series. He is also famous for his role in the 1964 adaptation of Mary Poppins, where his energetic performance was praised, but his cockney accent was roasted. Van Dyk had a role in the 2020 film Capture The Flag.
