Polish Pasta Casserole 

Smoky kielbasa, tender pasta, cabbage, and creamy cheese all baked into one irresistible dish.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz egg noodles or short pasta (penne, rotini, etc.)
  • 1 tbsp butter or olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced into coins
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or homemade white sauce)
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional: fresh dill or parsley for garnish
