Honey Teriyaki Ribs

1. Prepare the Ribs:

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Season the racks of ribs generously with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  3. Place the ribs on a large baking sheet lined with aluminum foil or parchment paper.

2. Make the Honey Teriyaki Sauce:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the teriyaki sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil.
  2. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat. Let it cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
  3. If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 1 tablespoon of water to create a slurry. Stir the slurry into the sauce and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat.

3. Coat the Ribs:

  1. Brush the honey teriyaki sauce generously over both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

4. Bake the Ribs:

  1. Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2 to 2 1/2 hours, or until the meat is tender and begins to pull away from the bones.
  2. Remove the foil during the last 30 minutes of cooking to allow the ribs to brown and caramelize slightly.

5. Serve:

  1. Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes.
  2. Cut the ribs into individual portions and place them on a serving platter.
  3. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, if desired.

6. Enjoy:

Serve your honey teriyaki ribs hot with your favorite side dishes, such as steamed rice, vegetables, or a crisp salad. Enjoy the delicious blend of sweet and savory flavors in every bite!
