Country Ranch Green Beans ‘n Potatoes with Bacon

Smoky, buttery, and full of flavor—this easy skillet or crockpot dish is pure country comfort food. Great for Sunday dinner, potlucks, or a rustic holiday side!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb baby red potatoes (or Yukon Gold), quartered
  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed (or use 2 cans, drained)
  • 6–8 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (or 3 tbsp homemade mix — see below)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup chicken broth or water
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley or shredded cheddar
