SAUSAGE ROLLS

1. Preheat Oven:

3. Assemble the Sausage Rolls: a. Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. b. Cut each pastry sheet in half lengthwise. c. Divide the cooled sausage filling into four portions and shape them into long logs. d. Place a sausage log along the center of each pastry strip.

4. Roll and Seal: a. Fold the pastry over the sausage, sealing the edges by pressing down with your fingers. b. Place the rolled sausage rolls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.

5. Brush with Egg Wash:

  • Brush the tops of the sausage rolls with beaten egg. This will give them a golden-brown finish when baked.

6. Bake:

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden.

7. Cool and Serve:
