A quick and easy weeknight dinner with tender shrimp, fresh broccoli, and a delicious garlic-soy sauce — better than takeout!
Ingredients (Serves 4):
For the Stir Fry:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated (optional but great!)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes or sesame seeds for garnish
For the Sauce:
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (or hoisin for sweeter flavor)
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
