Ingredients (Makes ~24 poppers):
For the Cornbread Poppers:
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large egg
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup melted butter or oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- Optional: chopped jalapeños, shredded cheddar, or corn kernels for extra flavor
For the Honey Butter Glaze:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- Pinch of salt
