Classic Pina Colada Recipe

  1. Prepare the Glass:
    • Fill a glass with ice cubes to chill it while you prepare the cocktail.
  2. Mix the Ingredients:
    • In a blender, combine the white rum, pineapple juice, and coconut cream.
    • Add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.
  3. Blend:
    • Blend the mixture until smooth and creamy. If the consistency is too thick, you can add more pineapple juice or a splash of water to thin it out.
  4. Pour:
    • Pour the blended Piña Colada into the chilled glass.
  5. Garnish:
    • Garnish the Piña Colada with a pineapple slice or wedge and a maraschino cherry on a cocktail pick.
  1. Serve:
    • Serve the Piña Colada immediately, and enjoy!

Variations:

  • You can use coconut milk instead of coconut cream for a lighter version of the cocktail.
  • For a frozen Piña Colada, blend the ingredients with more ice until slushy.
  • To make a virgin Piña Colada, simply omit the rum and increase the amount of pineapple juice and coconut cream.

Piña Coladas are best enjoyed on a hot summer day or as a tropical treat any time of the year. Cheers!
