Honey Mustard Salmon & Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients:

For the Honey Mustard Salmon:

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each, skin-on or skinless)
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon whole-grain mustard (optional but recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Lemon slices and fresh parsley, for garnish

For Roasted Asparagus:

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 1½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
