Cold Russian Salad

Step 1: Cook Vegetables

In separate pots, boil potatoes, carrots, and peas until tender. Drain and let them cool completely.

Step 2: Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine cooled potatoes, carrots, peas, diced ham or chicken, chopped eggs, and diced pickles.

Step 3: Add Dressing

In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Pour dressing over salad ingredients and gently mix to coat evenly.

Step 4: Chill

Cover and refrigerate the salad for at least 1-2 hours, allowing flavors to blend.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

Before serving, garnish with fresh dill or parsley for extra flavor and presentation.

Enjoy!

Serve chilled as an appetizer, side dish, or refreshing salad course—ideal for potlucks, picnics, and gatherings.
