This Philly Cheesesteak Pasta combines the iconic flavors of a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with tender pasta for an irresistible one-pot meal. With juicy steak, sautéed peppers and onions, and a creamy cheese sauce, this dish is perfect for weeknight dinners or a cozy weekend treat.

Ingredients

For the Pasta:

  • 12 oz penne pasta (or any short pasta of your choice)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb thinly sliced steak (such as ribeye, flank steak, or sirloin)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Vegetables:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

For the Cheese Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard (optional)

For Toppings (Optional):

  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Crushed red pepper flakes
