- 50g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 200ml warm milk (not hot, about 38°C/100°F)
- 80g unsalted butter, softened and cubed
- 1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk (for egg wash)
