Homemade Nutella

A smooth, indulgent spread that’s perfect on toast, pancakes, or right off the spoon.

Ingredients (Makes about 1½ cups)

  • 1 cup raw hazelnuts
  • 2–3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup powdered sugar (or more to taste)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2–4 tbsp neutral oil (e.g. sunflower, canola, or hazelnut oil)
  • Optional: 2–3 tbsp melted dark chocolate for extra richness
  • Optional: 2 tbsp milk for a creamier texture (keep refrigerated if using)
