Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 2 large chicken breasts (halved horizontally to make 4 cutlets)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon + 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Season & Sear:
    • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
    • In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.
    • Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. Make the Lemon Garlic Butter:
    • In the same skillet, lower heat and add butter and garlic.
    • Sauté for 30 seconds, then stir in lemon juice and zest.
    • Return chicken to pan and spoon sauce over top.
    • Simmer for 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
