Lemon Garlic Butter Chicken
Ingredients:
- 2 large chicken breasts (halved horizontally to make 4 cutlets)
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon + 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Season & Sear:
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil.
- Cook chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Lemon Garlic Butter:
- In the same skillet, lower heat and add butter and garlic.
- Sauté for 30 seconds, then stir in lemon juice and zest.
- Return chicken to pan and spoon sauce over top.
- Simmer for 2 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
