(plus extra for rolling, if desired) - 1/2 cup rolled oats
(use gluten-free oats if preferred) - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
(or substitute with pumpkin or sunflower seeds for a nut-free version) - 1/4 cup raisins or chopped dried pineapple (optional, for extra texture and flavor)
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
